I’m Jessica Blacklow, an award winning Australian coastal lifestyle photographer. My work explores the character, rituals and quiet beauty of life by the sea.

My love for photography began with discovering the joy of capturing my local surroundings and the everyday moments that connect us to the sea. My approach is documentary and natural, capturing life as it unfolds, without staging or direction. I’m drawn to the people, details and quiet rituals that give coastal life its character.

My background in design has shaped my eye for form, detail and balance, influencing the way I compose and capture each photograph.

My work has been featured in Australian and international publications. Accolades include, semi finalist in the Head On Photo Awards in 2025 and 2026, a Top 10 finalist in Documentary and Street at The Capture Awards 2025, and named among Australasia’s Top 20 Emerging Photographers in Capture Magazine’s 2022 annual awards.
